My son Bobby (11) rides motocross bikes. He had a fall this caused an Avulsion fracture of his knee. The ACL ligament pulled the bone away from his shin bone and massive swelling of the knee. After vi...sits to the hospital and his leg in a brace for weeks. We were told it will be three months before he would be able to ride his bike again. He was at a point where the brace could come off, but his knee was very weak and he was not able to walk right. I contacted Donal and we talked about how the Hyperbaric Chamber could help Bobby. Day one I had to help Bobby walk into the Chamber. Donal done some work on his knee also during the sessions. On the last day Bobby was able to walk out be himself he improved by 75%. The swelling had come down too. A couple of weeks after we went back to the hospital for a check-up. They x-rayed his knee and we were told it was fully healed. In January 2024, I brought my 80 year old neighbour down to see Donal as he had spent the last year on antibiotics for his ulcerated leg and now the skin on his other leg started to break down. His G...P and other medical professionals were at a loss of how to further his treatment as this elderly gentleman was doing everything possible to try and get his legs better. From ulcerated and compression stockings, massage therapy, medicines and IV antibiotics in hospital, nothing was improving this mans condition. I heard about Donal's Hyperbaric treatment in Wexford and watched a short youtube on his website. I felt that this was the only option left that we hadn't tried and made sense for us to try. I rang Donal to explain who I was and how my elderly neighbor was fed up with lack of any progress with his legs. From the first phone call, I knew that we made the right choice. Donal spent time explaining what the Hyperbaric therapy could do but also gave us realistic possible outcomes due to the age of the patient. We came down for one session to see how my neighbor would handle or tolerate being in the hyperbaric chamber. From the get go, Donal explained everything, made us feel very comfortable and reassured us that we could stop anytime if need be. It all went smoothly. The elderly gentleman was very relaxed in the chamber, very comfortable and felt quite energized from the treatment. So much so, he booked 2 session a day for the next 5 days. The great thing was that after a week of these hyperbaric therapy sessions, there was an improvement on the condition of this man's legs. The old skin started to peel off and new and healthier sin formed. He went back to his GP and she was very happy with the way the legs looked. A massive improvement from how they had been for the last year. The legs are still improving even 2 weeks after the treatment. Donal and his wife were a pleasure to deal with, very professional and very friendly. They went above and beyond just treating a patient, they really looked after this elderly gentleman, treating him as their own while he was getting the treatment. Went down to Gammy to the Hyperbaric chamber as I was suffering really bad with no energy in my body since I had ankle surgery 3 months previous. I done 6 sessions with gammy, my energy went from 0-10...0 within a week. My rehabilitation for my ankle was alot easier and I was back jogging for the first time in 5 months since I broke my ankle. Donal explained all we needed to know about the treatment and was very helpful with ...Jack's recovery. After 15 sessions within 6 weeks, Jack is back riding again. I would highly recommend Donal to anyone with an injury of such kind. I have long covid with cognitive and respiratory difficulties and didn't realise the benefits of oxygenation therapy until a news article. After one session in Donal's mono chamber I had increased cog...nitive ability, and after second session I has some Improvement in my respiratory. I had three sessions, which I found very relaxing and now I'm back in Scotland I intent to have further oxygen therapy. Nothing ventured nothing gained when it comes to long covid. Donal was very unassuming and did not offer any quick fix cures, a real gentleman. Read more
